Lighthouse Acoustics stands together with the people of Manchester

Lighthouse Acoustics Loves Manchester

Last Monday’s events at Manchester Arena were very traumatic. We had heard about suicide bombers on the radio and television news for several years but never expected this to happen on our doorstep. Nobody should expect to leave a gig badly injured or, as happened to twenty-two people, end up seeing their last gig.

Shortly afterwards, our city grieved, stood together, mourned, and made progress towards normality as quickly as possible. Early this week, Manchester Victoria station reopened. The spirit of Manchester was also reflected in its fundraising and, as announced in the last 24 hours, a benefit gig featuring Ariana Grande with Take That as support.

If you look at the floral tributes on St. Ann’s Square, or recall the mass singing of ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ after last Thursday’s observed silence, the terrorists have picked on the wrong city.

We at Lighthouse Acoustics would like to send our condolences to the friends and family of the twenty-two, whose lives were cruelly taken. We stand together with the people of Manchester. It is the city which we are glad to call our home. Passionate, diverse, rich in talent, creativity, and history.
